| Bridgestone Potenza RE050 and RE050A info: Both RE050 and RE050A comes in the RFT (Run Flet Tyres) version. In the wet, the RFT have a small disadvantage over the non-RFT. Keep that in mind when you are shopping for your next set of Bridgestone Potenza, because the RE050 and RE050A arent exactly cheap. The German automagazines AutoBild and Auto voted the RE050A as the winner of their 2008 summertyre test, and added the comments "Highly Recommended" and "Exemplary".

After testing it myself in a 530bhp 3000GT AWD I fully agree with that statement. We took the car around the very tight Ring Knutstorp in sweden, and it never let is down. What I noticed was the grip in highspeed corners - even with a slightly heavy car like the 3000GT, we had perfect feedback from the tyres. I have personally never tried a streetlegal tyre as good as Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. |
